IndieHint is an ongoing project to collect and document everything we can in the vast world of entertainment. This site is a free online interactive database of industry professionals, venues, studios, companies and services in the various facets of the entertainment industry.

Designed to be used by artists of all kinds (musicians, visual artists, actors/filmmakers etc...) our goal is to create a comprehensive resource to help educate, provide clarity and help eliminate the exploitation of professional artists.

How does it work?

This site is created and maintained by the worldwide community of professional artists. Users can create new articles or comment on and edit existing ones for everything from venues, studios and industry professionals to festivals, online services and many other categories. Everything on IndieHint is free to use; there are no membership fees or paid accounts.

Welcome to IndieHint!

We are currently in a beta phase of production and are looking for your experiences (the good AND the bad) in the music and entertainment industries. If you've had a recent experience with a promoter, producer, venue, studio, company or anything else we want to hear about it!

Here's how you can share your experience(s) with us:

1.) Create an account and tell us about the person, place or thing in question. Anonymous accounts are welcome, you can choose to share as much information with us as you like.

2.) Contact us directly at contact@indiehint.com and tell us about your experience. Your information will be kept confidential.
